Awesome place that serves a vast array of delicious and filling platters and drinks at the best quality and prices with the help of a really nice and friendly staff not to mention the highly prompt and punctual service too.
A unique style of Italian cuisine is was you get at Goat, located on one of the best streets for eating out in Chelsea. With the restaurant on the ground floor and DJ bar on the first floor, my friend and I had an amazing night.
We enjoyed dinner on a Thursday night, and she suggested we sit by the window to enjoy the some people watching along Fulham Road.
We began by sharing the starters, each delicious in their own way. I loved the burrata, datterini tomatoe and salsa verde, as the cheese was creamy and delicate. The tuna tartare with avocado, chilli, mooli and tamari was also great, with flavours that paired well with the fish.
For my main dish, I chose the roasted monkfish, taggiasca olives, datterini tomatoes and capers. The monkfish melted in my mouth, while the mix of complimentary flavors was delightful. My friend opted for grilled rib-eye steak tagliata, 28 day aged, rocket and pecorino, and she was very satisfied with her choice.
For dessert, we just had to try sticky toffee pudding with vanilla gelato, and the vanilla and blueberry cheesecake, which we also loved. After dessert we decided head upstairs to the bar to finish our wine and try some tasty cocktails while enjoying the music.
It was a great night at GOAT, and I’d highly recommend the experience to everyone.
It has now been three times that I have been to Goat, and I must say Goat offers a wide range of Italian dishes. It has 50% off on Wednesdays if u show your postcode is local.
We ordered pizza with bresaola, parmesan, pesto rocket and truffle oil. Pizzas are wood fried and toppings were fresh. My pizza was very tasty -not the best pizza in London. I had higher expectations, but there is nothing to complain about either.
On my second time, I ordered rib-eye steak tagliata with rocket and pecorino. It was nicely presented, however it was overcooked. For dessert, I ordered witchy toffee pudding which was served warm, with vanilla ice cream. It was delicious, worth to try for sure.
Finally, I decided to go for the wild mushroom risotto with truffle oil as main and macaroni and cheese as side after reading reviews. They were equally delicious! Risotto was cooked perfectly and mac&cheese was amazing.
Overall, I enjoyed dining at Goat. Would recommend to try mushroom risotto and macaroni&cheese. Will certainly go back.
